What was your best piece of baby advice?
We are bringing together a collection of ‘New Mum Tips’ collected from across the world.
If you could give one piece of advice to an expectant mum, what would it be?
Here are a few examples to get you started……
- Don’t be tempted to spell a classic name in a strange way to be different; your child will have a life of misspellings and mispronunciations.
- Buy baby sleeping bags, instead of using sheets and blankets. They sleep much better as they don’t wake up cold from kicking off the sheets and it saves you having to get up several times a night. Ideally have two, so that if they are sick overnight then you can just pop the other one on.
- ALWAYS carry a spare change of clothing for the baby, and a top for you. NEVER leave the house without them, you just never know when something may come out of an orifice.
